Reaction to Anthony Griffith

The man in the video was deeply mourning his daughter at the time of this story. I’m not sure how long it had been since she had passed but I do know that mourning doesn’t ever seem to find its way out of your life. It’s been 3 years since my father passed and at times it still hits me hard. I’ve learned and grown a lot since everything happened but the one thing I know now is that I can’t go back a do things I regret not doing while he was still here. Don’t let fear keep you from reaching your fully potential or stop you from taking the next step in your life.

I think that this was a good representation how people need to realize that fame and fortune do not provide happiness. Love, relationships and family provide a happy life.  People in the light of fame may look like they have the best life, but in reality most don’t and would give up fame to be happy.  Would you rather spend more time with one person who you have lost, or be famous?  At the end of life, what are you going to want the most…? A life where everyone knows your name, but happiness and contentment is nowhere to be found? Or a simple life with your family, making a normal income, and being thankful for the life you live?
